CANCELLATION OF OUR 2020 SHOW – All Shook Up

As a committee we have been monitoring the progress of all covid-19 guidance and restrictions which affect our ability to give our talented cast the opportunity to deliver the show they worked so hard to perfect. It is now our belief that the situation is unlikely to change to the extent that we will be able to fulfil our re-arrange dates in September.

We have therefore taken the decision to CANCEL our 2020 production of All Shook Up.

This will be the first year Hyde Musical Society hasn’t been able to perform for our audiences since our inception in 1940 and our first show, The Rebel Maid, performed at Hyde Town Hall in 1941.

The health and wellbeing of our Cast, Crew, Helpers and Audience are at the forefront of our difficult decision.

We still have our dates planned for 2021 and 2022 and are already looking forward to being back on the Festival Theatre stage. As the current situation
unfolds through this year, we will update everyone on our future plans.

Tickets: All tickets will be now be refunded (see below), HOWEVER we hope that you will support us through this difficult time by donating your ticket money to Hyde Musical Society.

Refunds

  1. If you have booked your ticket online through Ticket Source and paid by credit / debit card, they will be in touch and will automatically refund your ticket purchase. You won’t have to do anything.
  2. If you have booked direct with Hyde Musical Society, please email
    [email protected] with your booking information and your bank details (account number, sort code, name on account) and your refund will be made by bank transfer.

Note: Unfortunately, No CASH refunds can be made at this time.

Donations of all or part of the ticket value to Hyde Musical Society If you booked on-line via your credit / debit card, you will automatically receive a refund. Our ticketing company cannot transfer your money directly to us as a donation.

If you wish to support HMS, after your refund you can make a donation by bank transfer or cheque.
